TectoniCAD is an AutoCAD module, which is embedded in an AutoCAD template (TectoniCAD.dwg). If you open the template, a new menu entry is positioned in the AutoCAD menu. If you close the drawing, the menu entry is gone. Data and software remain in the drawing and work at every AutoCAD version (2000i – 2009)

1) Activate macros
opening TectoniCAD.dwg for the first time, you must activate the macros in AutoCAD. |

2) AutoCAD system configuration:
to use full productivity of TectoniCAD, we recommend the following changes in the AutoCAD system configuration ( you will find it in the AutoCAD menu >Extras>Options – System – GSHEIDI properties)

Options for rendering:
To get transparent 3D models, the following settings are required:
- activate materials
- transparency (high quality)

Hardware acceleration:
for optimal performance and a better visual representation, the hardware acceleration of the grafic card must be selected. |
