Mass movements: integration - modeling - simulation
A huge amount of data (geodetic data, geologic data, geotechnical data, geophysical data, hydrologic data) is collected during the survey of a mass movement. For understanding the interaction and to be able to come to a reproducable decision concerning monitoring- and repairing strategies, a georeferenced consolidation of the different data is necessary. We design a contemporary structure and representation of the various data, which are available for interpretation and make these data online available.

Time series analysis
Storing the data from monitoring in a database enables flexible administration and output of data. Geostatistic and time series analysis help to gain a better knowledge of movements especially, if other data as amount of rainfall are integrated. Animation of the movements with web technology enables, that the whole project team can have a quick look to the actual sliding performance mass bilances show areas of erosion- and accumulation on landslides and are a solid base for fixing the movements
Modeling of scenarios
Models of scenarios, which are deducable after the analysis of the monitoring data, enable the calculation of mass bilances, worst case estimations and the reproducable development of methods to stable the movements
